The person that originally met us was very welcoming, helpful, and did her best to sort out what was a very dissapointing problem with the room. The room (junior suite) itself was good but not exceptional. The breakfast was good. The car park was secure.

To be improved

The room was uninhabitable. When we arrived the temperature in the room was 33 deg C. The air conditioning would not work, the air fiters in the system were completely blocked with years of dust and very little air came from the louvres. The hotel could not arrange for it to be fixed that day. A fan was supplied. We were told to open the pation doors. The following day an engineer removed the filters and air came from the louvres, however this air was not cold and did nothing to affect the air temperature in the room which again had risen to 35 deg. C by the evening. The air con. did not work and had not been working for some time - the hotel must have known this was a problem. The air con. in our friends room was similarly inefficient but did at least cool the room slightly. The car park is some distance from the hotel. Not all the staff were as convivial as the lady that met us. The 'view' from the room terrace was awfull and the terrace furniture dirty. The coffee machine didnt work properly and if you dont like black coffee bring your own milk and tea.
