Spotlessly clean apartment with stunning views and great amenities We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It was immaculately clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The terrace was a real highlight, with beautiful views of the sea and castle, and very comfortable furniture — perfect for relaxing at any time of day. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and having a dedicated workspace was a great bonus. The swimming pool was lovely and quiet — most of the time we had it entirely to ourselves. There were plenty of sunbeds and large parasols, making it easy to enjoy a lazy afternoon in the sun. The location is peaceful, but everything you need is within walking distance. The beach is about 15 minutes downhill, and the castle is around 20 minutes away. A large, well-stocked supermarket is just 10 minutes away and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Just 5 minutes from the apartment is a great little spot called The Coffee Box — the staff are super friendly, and they serve affordable, delicious burgers and craft beers. A real bonus! Highly recommended — we’d definitely stay here again!

Nothing really except that it is a walk to the town and beach with some hills but not onerous.

We had a nice stay! Kitchen was well equipped so we could make meals. Great for families. The host was very responsive and super helpful. I would recommend this place.

Good communication from Marina before arrival. Quiet location. The two upstairs apartments are very large. Lots of outdoor space. Good choice of TV channels. Great views. I liked the interaction with the other guests who were all very friendly.

To be improved

The kitchen had some short falls, utensils fell short with some requiring replacement. The gas hob was temperamental, required replacement. Bed linen was thread bare and required replacing. Shower area was in a poor condition and has clearly required maintenance for sometime. The garage space for our apartment was too small for an average size car, beware of the pillar if you park in the space allocated to apt 1.

“Million dollar view!”

The best

Stunning view! Perfect aspect for admiring the historic heart of Peninscola and miles of sparkling sea. We were also treated to the memorable sight of a full moon over the hill top and moonlit sea. Nicely furnished and decorated, spacious, and well laid out, including outdoor seating to admire the views. Crisp, cotton bedlinen, and comfortable beds and pillows. Attractive, peaceful, neighbourhood, handy for supermarkets and easy drive of few minutes to centre. The secure garage was a bonus. If you have a car, would definitely recommend as an excellent base. The hosts were friendly, kind, responsive, and ensured a smooth check-in (a welcome relief after we were let down by the first property we booked Sky Home). We look forward to returning to Marina Village next time we are in the area. Muchas gracias!

To be improved

The tremendous view comes from height and there are steps up from the garage to the properties. One of our party has reduced mobility and she managed by taking it slowly.
