“The best stay and hosts!”
The best

We loved our stay at Mas Cal Sastre! Kim and Evie were gracious, generous hosts! The property is unbelievable and the buildings are stone. We stayed in the triple room, which had a queen and twin bed. The layout was roomy except the bathroom. The bathroom is small but had everything needed. There is a window in the bathroom which lets the cool air in and steam out with a pretty view. The breakfasts were yummy and homemade. Yogurt, jams, sausages, fruits and eggs if you asked. Kim and Evie don't speak tons of English, but we had no issues. This place is a step back into old Spain, with modern facilities. We really loved staying here and hated to leave!

The best

The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. They couldn't have been kinder or more attentive. The location was great to explore the many beautiful towns nearby. If you are a cyclist, this would be a wonderful place.

To be improved

Because it rained quite a bit while we were there, (much needed for the area, so no complaints at all), it meant we had to spend more time inside in the evenings - the cabin was quite small and only had one comfortable chair indoors. It is really set up for outdoor relaxing space which is lovely.

“A relaxing stay in a naturally beautiful setting, calm and quiet with lovely hosts”
The best

Quim and Evi were of genuine kindness, very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. We do not speak any Spanish, so communicating was a bit difficult, but we always managed to get somehow understood and the service was great.The breakfast was amazing, containing fresh quality products only. It would be useful to put English or French translations of the names of the products on a list, though, as we did not always know what we were eating ;-) but that was not a problem, rather an exciting culinary discovery. Spa facilities looked really nice but would have necessitated some time for heating. I would have loved to have a dip into to the pool, but it was too cold which is a pity. But it is true we did our booking in the last minute, and for February, so I can understand this. For spring/summer season, I think it woud be great if your spa facilities could be included in the room price instead of costing extra - that would be good value for money for your clients. Thank you for everything, Quim and Evi - we wish you every success in your business.

“Excellent weekend in a fantastic spot right in the middle of nature”
The best

Evi & Quim are excellent hosts! We had nice conversations during breakfast time (and what a great breakfast :-) ), where Quim explained us in detail the history of the area. Service was great and they really make you feel like home! I would recommend this place to anyone!
