“Great location for relaxation in the nature”

The outdoors areas of the property are stunning! The breakfast was very well done. The staff was very kind and helpful, especially the two ladies that were at breakfast and lunch- we are grateful for the great service they provided! It is a kids friendly establishment.

To be improved

I think that the pools and parts of the property could have been maintained a bit better, especially the external pool and the ceiling of the spa.

“We stayed away from the property as much as possible.”

Unfortunately, the experience fell well below our expectations in several important areas: Upon arrival, the staff was not helpful. We were left to push a luggage cart up a hill to our room while managing our three young children. The room was outdated and unclean. There was a strong odor upon entry, mold in the bathroom, a rusty lampshade, and a drawer that was visibly rotting. The exterior paint was peeling, and the overall condition of the property suggested a lack of maintenance and care. What was most disheartening was the apparent absence of passion or hospitality from the team. It’s a real shame, as the location itself is truly beautiful and full of potential.

“Beautiful old MAS in a countryside setting, walking distance to Pals.”

The best

This place was beautiful. The building, the grounds (really well kept), the outdoor pool and the facilities. We stayed an extra night. It was walking distance to the medieval village of Pals. We didn't eat here so can't comment on the restaurant but the potential as a venue for a wedding or some sort of celebration is huge. The reception guy on the first night was really helpful and friendly.

To be improved

The outside bedrooms could do with a makeover, our room was massive and lovely old style but new curtains and a lick of paint would go a long way to freshen the place up a bit. The same for the indoor spa area.
