“Beautiful vineyard accomodation in the hills near Barcelona.”
The best

Having been to Barcelona previously, we were catching an overnight ship to Sardinia the next day. This place was perfect with an easy drive to the port of Barcelona the next day. Everything about this beautiful place was beyond our expectations. Not far off the highway, we decided to take the slightly longer route down the narrow roads through the vineyards; it was very picturesque & an easy drive. The building itself is very old & beautifully positioned overlooking the vines.....the sunset here was gorgeous. Inside, a delicious dinner was served in the old wine cellar which made for a lovely atmosphere. Our room was superb to say the least. We had a beautiful large bedroom & well appointed bathroom with the most amazing shower ever!! The large swimming pool was very refreshing in the heat. Clara communicated with me beforehand that "extra" therapeutic services were available if needed. As I had strained a muscle 2 weeks earlier, she organised a remedial massage with Valentin (an osteopath) who quickly sorted out my injury. Breakfast is abundant & delicious. We would definitely recommend this B&B but you do need a car.

Handy for airport. Pool and seating areas in the grounds are pleasant. Nice restaurant with a good selection of local wine.

To be improved

Left early so missed breakfast but were given a poor packed “breakfast” of juice cartons, pre packed muffins and old apples. I am sure many leave early due to flights so either do better (eg nice sandwich) or don’t charge for breakfast - room only rate. In room drinks were minimal. No milk and no coffee machine- just a sachet each of instant coffee- not very luxurious or in keeping with a hotel of that price.
