The garden was perfect, quiet, private and a sun trap in the afternoon. Great location less than ten minute walk to the beach and less than five minute walk to La Tejita open market. Area with numerous restaurants and a small supermarket. The bus to nearby villages El Medano and Los Abrigos no 470 is right outside the gate on the main road, super convenient. The complex is in a quiet area perfect to relax, for hikers, Montana Roja is worth a visit taking approximately 30 minutes up to the top with beautiful views. This is located at the bottom of La Tejita beach which is close to the apartment.

Be mindful that when checking out you need to return the key to the office in El Medano which is 10 minutes away in taxi/ bus. We weren’t aware of this until a few days prior to arrival, we had an early flight and needed to drop keys back before our departure for the airport. There is only one taxi firm in La Tejita which was booked out for appropriate times therefore we had to book a private transfer costing 70e. This may not be an issue for those who rent a car but it was stressful trying to organise this. On the profile it states there is a paid shuttle bus to the airport however when I queried this after paying for accommodation I was informed this is no longer available. There is a continuous noise at night within the building perhaps a fan or air con unit, this can be disturbing at night. Also there is no air con in the apartment just a ceiling fan, it was fine this time if year( Feb) I’m assuming it would be hot during Warner months of the year. Sun loungers would be appreciated that you could take to the pool as there is no seating.
