“Has potential but needs a lot of work and better cleaning.”

The best

The house has potential but needs work. It's big and can host at least 6-8 guests so would be ideal for big groups/friends. Nice and fully equipped kitchen, even though we didn't use it. Nice and quiet neighbourhood. Easy & free parking in the area. The owner is super nice, responsive and willing to help!

To be improved

The house clearly needs maintenance works and I can't say that the photos are representative of its current state. Especially the shared bathroom on the ground floor is in bad condition -even the frame of the door was missing and was stored inside the bathroom for some reason. Also, since it was shared the other guests were not particularly considerate when they were using it, and didn't leave it clean for the others. The room was not clean when we arrived, there was dust and hairs on the floor. Also the bed was not very comfortable. I don't think that this is indeed ideal for couples but it would be great to host large groups of friends. The walls are quite thin so if the other guests are loud, you can hear them as if they are right next to you (which happened in our case). It's quite outside Seville so definitely need a car.

“Room okay, common areas not clean, not looked after. Not worth the money.”

The room we stayed in was nice, it was big (but mostly empty with a bed and wardrobes only), with a nice view. Easy to park, good location.

To be improved

No facilities in the room, not even a desk. The kitchen was awful. The pots were worn put, not healthy to cook in them. You open the drawers, you don't know what you'll find - could be an unrelated cap of something, could be some dust, some pieces of unidentified things, leftover food, etc. It feels like it's a forgotten villa. It could have been looked after much better, it's a pity what it turned out to. The common areas are not at all looked after, it seems it's left to its destiny, whatever the guests do with it. We were so dissatisfied, even though we didn't dare to use the kitchen, we could barely complete our 2 nights stay. Definitely not worth the money.

The best

Lovely, quiet, residential area with shops and an amazing coffee roastery/cafe place around the corner. Solid 20 mins walk to the metro station, but walk felt safe even at night. Well equipped kitchen.Comfortable, clean bed.

To be improved

Cactus room with shared bathroom. The house is worn down quite a lot - pictures are not accurate. We struggled to close the door to our room as the lock was getting stuck, and had a similar issue with the lock to the shared bathroom downstairs (falling apart) There were many tiny ants wandering through the room (1st floor), but thank god not interested in humans. Same ants colony present on the kitchen floor. The shared bathroom was very musty, and had no sanitising spray available to clean it. The bin in the bathroom was not emptied for the 4 nights we have stayed there. The social area with the sofa was occupied each evening and all night by what seemed a permanent tenant. The shared fridge seemed not cleaned for a while, with sprouting garlic cloves inside. Such a lovely house, shame it's so neglected...
