There was no kettle or coffee maker. I feel one of the two should have been present in self catering accommodation, thankfully we had taken a travel kettle. The apartment is really in need of updating and money spent on it. Although comfortable, furnishings are old and dated and it is quite basic. The shower doors don't shut properly because the seals have gone and it was impossible to regulate the water temperature for more than a couple of minutes, it would run cold and then very hot and back to cold again. We managed for two nights but for a longer stay it would have been really frustrating. We booked the apartment because it had a pool but no one advised us beforehand that swimming hats needed to be worn, so not having them we couldn't use the pool. Check in arrangements were that we would be met at the property. Arrived at the block at the agreed time and stood outside not knowing what buzzer to press. Telephone number didn't work, then saw a message to call a different number. The person's teenage daughter came down a few minutes later, showed us in and said her mother would bring more towels later. There were already two bath towels and a hand towel but no bathmat. Despite her messaging and arranging to bring more at an agreed time the next day, they eventually arrived just as we were checking out 2 days later.
