Excellent location for sightseeing and conveniently located for the Alhambra.
The cleaning staff and laundry team are top-tier, ensuring a spotless and well-maintained suite every morning.
Amenities were decent but could be improved, especially dining options and management.
Overall experience was mixed; beautiful location and cleanliness offset by service and dining issues.
Mixed feelings about the service; some staff were friendly, while others lacked attentiveness and friendliness.
Basic rooms that may require better maintenance, as one room had a non-functional thermostat.
“Short stay in Granada.”
We booked a premium level room & it was amazing. We were checked in via the private check-in on floor 6. Alasandra looked after us and had a street view room allocated for us if we wanted to watch the Easter processions during our stay? What a bonus! I would thoroughly recommend booking a room with The Level if you have a chance. Great selection of food & drinks while overlooking the Alhambra & Sierra Nevada. BUT what made our stay super special was the treatment & service ( always with a smile ) from the staff, Alasandra & Amore. Thank you.
“Centrally Located Hotel with Great Staff”
This was a great central hotel for us to stay at during our visit to Granada. The rooms are small, but clean and the hotel staff is very wonderful. I'd like to especially call out Borja who was wonderful during check in and was also taking on the role of "concierge" and helping us with our planning and taxis. I recommend this hotel especially after the horrible experience at the Palacio Solecio in Malaga which was 2X the cost and horrible customer service
“A mediocre hotel that sells itself as luxury”
This is an ok hotel if you just need a place to lay your head, but if you want a luxury experience look elsewhere Checking was fine - they offered me a deal on a pice fixe dinner. Problem was the servers / front office did not communicate so we had to get the manager involved to use the pre paid ‘deal’. Not worth the hassle. Food portions were tiny but decent. Parking is 1* as the garage had a ‘full’ sign and with bleachers on the street for Holy Week the hotel was hard to find - maybe they could have warned me? Add to that the aisles and ramps were designed for goat carts. Spots are very tight - I could park, but could not open my doors. Took much driving in circles to find a space. No valet either. Premium room was, well plain as a holiday inn. Plastic wood furniture, no carpets, cheap finishings in bathroom. Underwhelming to say the least. There is an open closet - not even a drape to hide the clothes and no decorations on the white walls. Room felt very, very cheap Bathroom was minimal - had the basics - nothing else. No kleenex - we had to ask. Shower was fine and at least the toilet worked properly :) The bed was comfortable. It was one of those two separate beds pushed together, but made up individually. The air system was set to 23c heat (73F) with no way to cool the air. So we opened the windows and tried to get it below 70 so we could sleep. Problem is there is no air circulation and the heat would reset every day to 23c Breakfast was a typical boring spread with yesterday’s bread, soggy eggs, and the WORST COFFEE I have ever had. No espresso - just an automated machine like you find at a cheap motel 6 that spews out brown tasteless water. When we mentioned this to the staff - they didn’t care. So we ate breakfast across the street where they had real coffee and fresh pastries. The room was only made up when we asked. Not sure why, but for these prices I would expect full service Location: Fantastic - close to all shopping, restaurants and bars. Anything you want is nearby and clothing is about 1/3 less than in the U.S. It’s an OK business hotel with bored corporate staff. But for a holiday - avoid as there are many better more luxurious options.
“Great views from The Level”
Great views from The Level but would be better if the windows were a bit cleaner. Surprised that there was no Cava to drink for breakfast in The Level lounge and that the buffet breakfast was just warm. The noise during the night was very loud. Maybe a night club close by that closed around 3am ? Being a platinum member I was surprised that no recognition was given during our stay. The club sandwich from room service was the worse. Despite the above comments we enjoyed our stay and would return.
“Wonderful Time”
The room was excellent, beautiful, clean and a balcony! Melia has a wonderful Level lounge with incredible views. The staff are amazing! Top notch service and friendliness! The location was perfect- walking distance to the main sights. 20 minutes walk to Alhambra - it was easy.
“All around great hotel!”
A beautiful hotel, great location, wonderful food and friendly staff. We could not have asked for a better experience!
