“Great stay but poor communication”

Here’s a clean, confident TripAdvisor‑ready version that hits the right balance of praise and constructive feedback: --- Great hotel, but communication needs improvement Stayed over Valentine’s for a long weekend and overall had a lovely experience. The room was excellent — very spacious, a big comfortable bed, and fantastic views from the top floor. Breakfast was also a highlight, with plenty of choice and great quality. However, the hotel is currently undergoing major renovation work. Only the top three floors are being used for guests, and the entire outdoor pool area is closed. This was disappointing, especially as there’s no mention of the pool closure on their website. Guests should really be informed about this in advance, as it’s a significant part of the facilities. A great stay, but clearer communication would make a big difference.

“Very good hotel”

Large hotel with excellent infrastructure. It is a popular choice for various conventions, as it has adequate space for such events. The rooms are good clean, and they feature a balcony. It is close to the beaches, and depending on the room, there are ocean views. The one I stayed in did not have a good view, but there are others with better views. It is a great option for business trips or family leisure. The hotel restaurant is good, stays open at night, and you can have dinner or enjoy a drink. Prices are average.

“Gorgeous Hotel”

The best

Booked this hotel as a package with Jet2. Soon as I walked in through the doors I loved it. It was so light and spacious and had a lovely calm atmosphere. The reception staff were lovely and welcoming. I booked a premium sea view room and wasn't disappointed as the view was stunning. The room was light and airy and I loved the scandi style decor. There were no cheap toiletries in the bathroom it was stocked with Rituals products. Tge breakfasts were really good with lots of choice and again was decorated tastefully. I loved the location as was only a short stroll to the marina and a nice little beach nearby. The walk into town was a bit taxing on my dodgy knees but it wouldn't stop me booking this hotel again. It's the first time I've stayed in a Melia hotel and was very impressed. Loved it.

“Great stay!”

The best

Great customer service from all staff, specially from Jordi at the front desk. The hotel was very busy but Jordi was very helpful and accomodating. The hotel has a lovely pool area and a tasty breakfast buffet. The hotel is also very clean.

“Absolute gem”

The best

We have visited this hotel on numerous occasions & it never fails to impress. For ourselves it is the ideal position, it is a 20 minute walk into the centre of Sitges. A really pleasant walk overlooking the sea, ideal after an evening drinking and eating. The hotel is immaculately clean, everywhere is spotless. It would be difficult to highlight any particular staff, as everyone member of staff - be it the gardener, housekeeping, bar restaurant reception are exceptional. Friendly yet professional. This visit we noticed that the bedrooms have been refurbished to a high standard, very modern. There has also been a welcome improvement in the Saffron bistro area, both in the furniture, menu & a great improvement in the quality of the meals. The buffet breakfast in the restaurant has an exception variety of choices both hot & cold. Do not be put off by the fact that it also hosts conferences. Whilst ar certain times it means the restaurant & bar can be quite busy there are separate conference areas. I think that the fact that we have visited yearly (apart from lockdown) for over 20yrs now, shows how great this hotel is

“Great service hotel”

The best

Great customer experience notable with Alex and Clara leading lights and exceptional. Matthews and Faus also helpful and give great service and welcome. The pool area and pool is open to 2000 and we'll run.. The bar is good and lunch was served quickly when required.. The towell and pool staff work are keen to help and keep the area ship shape The gym is open 24hrs but could use an extra rack of weights 12kg to 20kg...plus room for a free standing bar. Room cleaning is strong most of the time
