Mendialdea Amaiur Baztán

Zoragarria!! Felixak eta familia guztiak primeran artatu gintuen. Oso jende atsegina, etxekoak bagina bezala tratatu gintuzten. Gure apartamentuak balkoia zuen eta bista ederrak. Denetarik zegoen etxean, ontzi garbigailua barne. Zabala zen eta ohea ere oso erosoa. Goitik behera berritua eta txukun-txukuna. Ezin hobeto egon gara eta aukera izanez gero, zalantzarik gabe itzuliko gara.

The service was so good. They welcomed us with delicious free muphins, very friendly family. Last day because of new Year they sent us a bottle of cava and amazing chocolates from a very good local shop

Although the apartment was in a house right by the road, sound-proofing (and heat-proofing) was assured by the triple glazing. The view from the main window was superb (across the Baztan valley to Gorramendi), with Lammergeier and other birds of prey circling, horses and cows providing extra entertainment closer to us! The bed and sofa were very comfortable, furniture and equipment good. The cake given as a 'welcome' (thank you!) was tasty and lasted us the whole time there! It was rather wet during the week we were there, but we found walks each day. Towns and villages nearby (Elizondo, Arizkun, Amaiur etc) are authentic (i.e. not distorted by tourism) and interesting. The apartment owners were friendly and helpful. It was a great week.
