We had a wonderful stay at Villa Mentirosanata. The location is peaceful and picturesque – perfect for relaxing or exploring the surrounding area. The house was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The outdoor terrace and pool were highlights – we especially enjoyed spending evenings there. The views of the mountains and the sea were absolutely stunning and made the experience even more special. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet retreat with all the comforts of home.

The hosts were very nice and helpful. I could really easily communicate with them. Our plane was delayed way beyond the check in time and they still waited for us, and even made us a sandwich dinner! The place is also very quiet and peaceful and a great spot to start hiking from.

Everything was perfect! The place is one of the best we've been. And we have travelled a lot :)

This place is a gem up in the mountains for a perfect relaxation with amazing views. The accommodation is private for the guests use only, and the owner is in a separate house just above the swimming pool about 100m away, the host gives entire privacy to the host, we haven't seen them in 4 entire days and felt like we owned the entire area. Host are genuinely friendly so looking back I wish I had invited them over for a drink! There is also possibility for the host to cook for you on demand with one day notice, although we haven't tried it. The view is breathtaking. One funny fact as an exemple of the perfection: there are 4 séparate terrace for different times of the days, one for the morning, one in the swimming pool, one on top of your accommodation and one for the sunset next to a parking spare. The place has everything you need, including a fully equipped kitchen.. There are many restaurants 10 minutes drive in Cómpeta, and walking around the house for 1h on the evening with the sunset is pretty cool Good to know : the swimming pool is not heated, so it is expectedly cold during colder month. It was 13 degrees end of March for example, still good for those who like 1 cold bath. The accommodation is up in the mountains so expect a bit of mountain driving. The temperature will be a bit colder than on the cost, perfect for hotter days. During colder months, room could be a bit cold but there is AC that can also heat up the place in addition to duvet. The WiFi is just enough for video calls with 15Mb/s down and 4Mb/s up, 150ms latency and rather stable, quite good when you think about how lonely you are up there!

We absolutely loved this beautiful house! It looks exactly as in the photos. The view is simply breathtaking, offering a stunning panorama of the mountains, sun, and sea, and the location is peaceful yet not isolated. There were multiple outdoor seating options, including a dining table, sun loungers, and cosy chairs. There was a barbecue set with all the necessary equipment. The house is beautifully designed with all essentials provided, especially in the kitchen, we had everything we needed, including thoughtful extras like coffee, oil, spices, and more. The thoughtful details and artistic decor added to the charm. The owner was kind and easy to communicate with, and even the neighbours were welcoming. I absolutely recommend this place for those seeking tranquillity, beauty, and comfort!
