Apartment is wonderful - we had 7 guests, and it worked very well. Marc was great to work with, and communication was excellent. Apartment had all amenities needed for our stay.

The best

The apartment was easy to find and very well located to all parts of the city. Very accessible to Metro which was very easy to use and get us around the city. The apartment is also located in good walking distance to Las Ramblas, the Port and Montjuic for walkers with moderate fitness. There are fresh food markets and supermarkets very close by with a few pleasant eateries and restaurants. Mark was very responsive and made the stay easy. We had a few things not quite work, but Mark fixed them quickly. A good sized apartment, especially for a family or even a couple. It was clean and had plenty of towels with a good washing machine and dryer. I would definitely stay here again.

Location was great, the apartment was spacious and clean, the host was lovely when we met to take the keys and gave us lots of tips on stuff to visit. Easy checkout process, just leave the keys.

This apartment is in a great location. Three of us (68, 64, 25) stayed for 6 nights and we bought a 10 journey metro ticket each but only used 1 journey, as we walked everywhere. Even Casa Battlo is only about a 30 minute easy walk from the apartment. There are a number of supermarkets and pharmacies, cafes, tapas bars (one right at the door) very close. The apartment is spacious with a large dining table and another table in the kitchen. We arrived early, 11:00, and were happy to just drop our bags and set off exploring beautiful Barcelona. However, as the previous guests had left early and the apartment had been prepared, Mark very graciously let us check in early. Very much appreciated.

To be improved

The bed in the second bedroom is extremely uncomfortable... an old style spring mattress I think. I contacted Mark, the owner/manager at the end of our stay to let him know about this and he was grateful for the information as he said he was unaware, so hopefully now he will change it. As others have commented it's almost impossible to regulate the hot water in the showers. It's either scalding hot or if you turn it down, even slightly, it becomes very cold. Unlike everywhere else we stayed on this holiday, (both more and less expensive accommodation) no toiletries such as soap or body wash or other conveniences such as tea, coffee are supplied. I know this is not a hotel but even so, given that this apartment is not particularly cheap, I think soap/body wash at least could be supplied.
