“A perfect hotel for a perfect location.”
The best

Simply stunning location!!! Great bed. Great room, the pool unfortunately was closed by the time we got there, and had to leave before it opened at 10am, that was a shame!! But couldn’t fault it. The room had a balcony with views of the bay and beyond. Good Wi-Fi. Easy parking. Funicular to get down the hill every 15mins. Perfect, just wish we had more time there! Would stay there again if revisited!!

“The Shining...”

This is NOT a 4-star hotel! And it felt like The Shining... where are the staff? We felt on our own, not in a good way. We did not stay. Booked another hotel and left. The overall decor of the room is dated (stuck in the 80s, not deliberately). No duvet, just bed sheets and a blanket. I found an extra blanket in the closet, very old and cheap quality, it smelled and had a yellow stain. The pillows were nothing special. The remote did not work. Luckily, we found (in a hard to open drawer) a second remote that worked. No streaming platforms are offered, and there is no way to change the T.V. to its original audio.

You cannot beat the views! Pool was lovely, as were rooms and balcony.

To be improved

Unfortunately, staff were unbothered about how you were enjoying your stay, and any issues that arose. The hotel was full, they didn’t really care if you enjoyed your stay.

The view from the hotel is stunning.

This hotel is really remote. You have to take a cab every time you want to go downtown or the funicular . The hotel has seen its best days and the Wi-Fi is really bad. In the gym the multi machine was broken and the swimming pool is not heated.
