“Good but could be great with a few additions.”

The location was great. Close to supermarket, shops, port, aquarium and beach. The apartment was clean and spacious.

To be improved

Parking was tricky. We followed instructions by the hosts which failed to inform that parking in blue WITH yellow lines has its own rules! Our car was towed and spent a whole day getting it back. Another guest had only just saved her car from being towed the next day. We wrote to the hosts to inform them that their instructions needed to warn future guests but their response was dismissive. Check-in time is too late. Other than that, we did like the accomodation just a few kitchen additions like a tea towel, dishwashing liquid, potato peeler would be good.

“Easy to access (door codes etc). Good location. · Cons: Beds too small for two to share. Rough concrete wall finish was a bit grim for us. Street outside a bit noisy with traffic especially as we needed to keep windows open for a breeze.”

“Fabulous apartment in the centre of A Coruña”

This attic is absolutely fabulous, I loved the design and it was so easy to access everything, the apartment was spotless, there wasnt too much noise from outside, we all had a great night's sleep. Everything was very easy, and we had an excellent stay. And it's pet friendly 10/10

To be improved

The only thing i didn't like was the messages I received reminding me of the check out time, it was completely unnecessary to receive so many messages and another message at 7am on the morning of the check out when check out was at 11. Also check in at 5pm is also quite late.

“Amazing 4 day trip to one of our favourite places, A Coruña 💕”

Likes: We stayed in the penthouse apartment on 6th floor which had 3 bedrooms and 3 en-suites. The mezzanine bedroom master suite was incredible housing a bath tub within the shower enclosure. Very cool! True, it’s an industrial chic styling but we all loved the look and simplicity of the apartment which was large and spacious for a group of 6, especially when the 3 men are 6’2”, 6’5” and 6’7”! Also very central with the beach a 5 minute walk away and the shopping/eating district a short 10-15 minute walk - so no real need for a car if you’re only planning a short city break and not travelling further afield. Having a Gadis supermarket practically on the doorstep was an added bonus for basics although A Coruńa is priced to eat and drink out all day long, so much cheaper than the UK with fresh and delicious food served throughout the city. Be prepared to be amazed by how cheap it is to eat out, even at the nicer establishments! Will be back! Dislike: We feel we should mention the awful smell as you entered the foyer at the front door 😔 We don’t want it to detract from our stay in the apartment as once we closed the door to the apartment, it was absolutely not an issue. However, it was something that was present throughout our stay. Not sure if it was coming from the drains (sewer) but think it needs addressing by the building manager.
