Started off with arrival being messed up, staff were not responsive to their phones or any means of communication for 2 hours. No way of getting into the accomodation in this time. Had to stay outside until they finally picked up. Staff also knew what time I was arriving at the accomodation also.

Disappointed due to misunderstandings or not clear information while renthing this apartment as a couple, we were thinking we will be sharing only the kitchen while in fact we had to share (living room, kitchen and bathroom) with possible 3 other couples (not the case here, there was another room occupied apart of us). The photos from the balcony don't reflect the reality as well and that was one of the things we were looking for. From our 2 nights stay - we left after the first one

The hosts themselves seem lovely, however like many other reviews about the property, we were under the impression that the bathroom and entire unit was private, and I didn’t realize until a few days before our stay when I was poking around the property’s reviews. Clearly stating this in the description and/or title would help people know what they’re getting themselves into. There are 3 rooms that face the street, and 1 room that is further inside/internal of the unit. My boyfriend and I had room 2 (facing the street) with a balcony, and unfortunately it was VERY noisy and not sound proof - this is particularly because there is a restaurant quite literally right next to/below the unit. The restaurant closes at 12am, and is (perhaps fortunately for them, unfortunate for us), very successful and has many customers until very close - this meant most nights we would sleep around 12am. Our room also has very see-through blinds which let tons of light through, so I would recommend bringing an eye mask. The apartment seems to have AC but the rooms do not have AC (only a heater) so we were sweating at night and had to open the balcony doors (which…only allowed more noise to come in). Additionally, some of the reviews for the property give the impression that the place is 5 mins walk from everything - but in reality, it’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the true city centre of Granada, which depending on how much walking you do, can be quite tiring after a long day. I don’t think there’s much the hosts could do to change these factors besides being more transparent and more obvious about the shared bathrooms in the listing. A lot of these factors are built into what you get with this property - I’d say if you can handle the above, then the value is pretty good. Most places in Spain are quite expensive, and this was a nice affordable option.
