Bit cold and heating was inadequate

It was very cold! The heaters did not do much to warm the place up. Complimentary firewood would have been greatly appreciated.

It would be good to have one bag of wood supplied on arrival so the fire can be lit immediately. There was a phone number for the local log man but we arrived too late to use that on the first night. So we bought a bag of wood from the shop as directed but the wood was wet and the logs were big so we couldn’t get the fire going and it was freezing! Fortunately we were able to wrap up in the warm blankets from the bed. The next day we phoned the local log man who provided us with a brilliant bag of wood which was dry and had small bits of wood and it only cost 8 euros.

Given the style of the place it is a bit dark during the day. But there is enough light and a small patio.

Perhaps the first night's wood could be supplied in Winter and a kettle would be useful
