Miami Solstice Apartment with breathtaking views BY NAMASTE ELITE

The building is really high and there was a strong wind one night that rattled the windows.

Our vacation at Miami Solstice Apartment was disappointing. We were promised there would be a swimming pool, but upon arrival in May, the host informed us it was closed for the winter. This was surprising, as other pools in the area were open, and the pool on the property appeared completely empty, suggesting it had been closed far longer than just a couple of months. We were not informed of this in advance, and had we known, we would have booked different accommodation. When we raised the issue, neither the host nor Booking.com took responsibility. We were told no compensation would be offered, despite the pool being our primary reason for choosing this apartment. Booking.com simply stated that the reservation was non-refundable and that, since the host refused to offer compensation, there was nothing they could do. The only alternative presented was that we could leave the apartment and get a partial refund for the unused days—minus cleaning and service fees—which would have required us to find new accommodation BY OURSELVES at short notice and extra cost. We also experienced other communication issues with the host, who seemed unaware of our arrival time despite messages through multiple channels. Additionally, a broken electric blind blocked access to the balcony. We were not responsible for the damage, and when we reported it, the problem was only addressed after we persistently contacted Booking.com and demanded a resolution.

The lift. That was awful. Very small and slow. Every single day, one of the two working lifts is broken. Got stuck once in it, lift opened between two floors - Very scary and ended up at basement with no light giving you an eerie feeling. Not advisable for anyone that depends on using the lift or claustrophobic. Gate to the staircase with no key provided so you are stuck if the lift is broken and you need to use the staircase. You have no access. We used the stairs on one occasion to the 15th floor - luckily there was a resident that opened the gate to the staircase. Access to the pool is appalling due to the lift issue as you can only access it using one of the lifts which was broken down each day of the 6 days we were there. The lift could be working one moment, and the next 30 minutes or an hour, it's broken.

Few items missing, no iron,no sweeping brush only small brush and pan,no outside table no microwave. unpleasant smell in small bedroom, possibly sewage. Fair.

The location of the building was not accurate and was not communicated with us before arrival, we had to wait half an hour for the staff to arrive and take us to the right location. The lifts there are very slow and small
