“24/7 reception turned into belittling of the customer”

Nice location in a quiet neighbourhood, many markets near: Lidl, Mercadona

Not fully clean room, last visitors dark long hair in many places on the floor, towel also had some brown marks on them. The worse was still the ”24/7” reception lady who never we’re there. On arrival, I waited for 1 hour for the key but she was nowhere to be found with phonecalls and messages. Once she arrived she was extremely rude, careless and neglectful, started even being aggressive when I asked ”can I get some service and check in to my room” . Totally embarrassing and extremely non-professional behavior.

“Comfy room and quiet at night - perfect for festival goers”

The beds were extra comfy, there was plenty of room for both of us and our stuff ( you get two desks each, two wardrobes). The location worked great for us cause we were going to a festival nearby. I personally wouldn't recommend it if you were planning to go to Central Madrid as it is quite far and quite tricky to get there with public transport. They's also a Lidl nearby which helped keeping some costs down for essentials. The room was quiet and cool (it was 37° outside for a few days but the room was always nice and cool).

To be improved

The bathroom didn't have any toiletries so we had to buy shower gel, which was a bit annoying cause then we couldn't take that back with us. Minor thing I guess. We were also told that there was a kitchen however we couldn't find it. Again, minor thing as we didn't really need it. It's not very close to a metro so getting around was a bit confusing the first day. You can still move around with Uber or a Lime, but if you plan to go to Madrid city centre I would look for closer accommodation.

A refridgerator would have been helpful. Stayed six nights and sheets weren’t exchanged.
