“Pleasant”

Fantastically cheap and cheerful. The staff were so nice and helpful. This is not a hotel, it's a student residence that appears to be used outside school term as accommodation. The room s are small but very functional. A small kitchen area for making quick meals or reheating food. Do not expect the Ritz, and you will be pleasantly surprised. I never leave reviews unless the mood hits me, and this place made the mood hit me. It was modern, clean and right next to a bus shelter for direct access to the city. I would definitely stay again, if in Santander for a night or two, however, it is a bit of a distance from the centre, with very little around it, in terms of shopping or restaurants. If you prefer to be close to the centre, this is not for you.

To be improved

It was a bit of a drain to get to the centre. The bus shelter is directly outside, buses seem infrequent to the area, but arrived on time, when scheduled. During the day, traffic was heavy, meaning quick trips into the centre became longer ordeals. Again, for the price I paid, this is to be expected.

“A half hour walk from town, 5 minutes to an excellent supermarket, comfortable cheap.”

No fancy add ons that I wouldn’t use anyway (TV telephone). Laundry in the basement was a huge bonus!

To be improved

No ac or fans made the rooms a little stuffy overnight. No coffee cups, and minimal cooking pots.

“The dorm is more comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful. The place is near to transportation specially bus stations. I would like to thank all the staff. But, I have a main note, if you need to clean your room or if you need shampoo , you should require from them. Thanks 🙏”

“Great base to spend a few days”

The best

It was great having a self contained unit complete with kitchenette. They also had a gym and a laundry for use.

To be improved

The staff weren’t very helpful when I asked about taking the bus they just wished me good luck! Oh and if you want to use the kitchen you’ll have to pay 2.50 for a pack with detergent and cloth.
