I was originally scheduled to arrive on February 1st, but due to a ferry cancellation, I didn’t arrive until February 3rd. I informed the host, Michal, a week in advance about the delay, and he assured me it wasn’t an issue. However, when I arrived, the apartment was absolutely filthy—dirty sheets, grimy floors, an unclean shower, and a kitchen that clearly hadn’t been sanitized. The worst part? I found used Q-tips under the master bed sheets, and several blankets in the guest bedroom reeked of urine. When I addressed these issues with the host, he was rude and dismissive. Instead of taking responsibility, he told me I should be grateful he even let me stay, as he had a strict no-show policy. In other words, he considered keeping the full payment and denying me entry altogether—so, in his mind, I had no right to complain. The place was so dusty that my face was swollen the entire stay, even after I deep-cleaned the apartment myself and took all the bedding and towels to a laundromat at my own expense. To make matters worse, after I left, he began harassing me via WhatsApp, threatening me, making outrageous accusations that I smoked indoors, falsely claiming I left the place a mess, and even demanding more money via bank transfer. Avoid this place at all costs—it’s a total scam.
