Minimal Rooms by ELE Apartments

A whole bunch of things make this apartment extremely uncomfortable. - First of all - bedding and mattresses, it felt like it was made from stone. Seriously this is the most uncomfortable mattress I ever tried, my back hurts still. There is no one king size bed, just two separate (and we knew that before arrival), which cannot be attached together as you can usually do, the huge space remaining in between. Is that so difficult to put on one single king size mattress? Bed sheets are synthetic which makes your sleep even more uncomfortable. - The conditioning system is broken, it doesn't react to your temperature settings, so it's getting really cold in the apartment in just a few minutes and when you turn it off it gets warm again, so you have a great time running around that. - There is no anything in the shower to put your shampoo, soap etc, even a towel. - Kitchen - there is just one single old scratched pan there, and it's so small, you can't cook anything there. - Electric kettle.... This is something very strange. They have one in the kitchen and they even have an electricity socket, however it is located on top and the cord doesn't have enough length to access it. Things like this are so easy to be fixed, why it's still like this is a guess for me. - Blinds in the bedroom were broken (they fixed that though the next day) - Asked to bring some more towels and found the huge IKEA bag in the kitchen with lots of it... Smells like a sarcastic sign - Sofa is old and has bad smell. - Noise isolation missing - The apartment itself is small, not functional and not comfortable.

We didn’t get full check-in instructions and had real problems locating the apartment or the luggage store. We also didn’t get the airport taxi that we had reserved through the apartments.?( had we done so, we might have located the apartment more quickly)

I was hoping the host would allow us to check in earlier as this what I initially booked but unfortunately that was not the case. The cleaner was lovely enough to let us leave our bags while we waited. I think there needs to be more than one cleaner , bless them, they work so hard and the cleaning is very time consuming for one person.

I didn’t realise when selecting the accommodation that there is no washing machine available, that is a bit of a downside for long stays. The Tv is flat, but not smart and only local channels available, the sofa bed (which I didn’t try as a bed) is stained and quite uncomfortable, perhaps time to update it. Also was surprised there were no coffee capsules or tea bags provided, just sugar and honey and a couple of buiscuits (it seemed ironic) no salt either, just oil..
