Cala Galdana is beautiful. If you want to have a relaxing, ‘do nothing’, chilled holiday this is for you! We stayed at Minura apartments and it was a short walk from the beach. The area is very scenic and supermarket close by with all necessities. Hotel Room We booked a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa complex with living area and kitchenette. Positives: - location - Housekeeping friendly and thorough - Staff working across the restaurant and complex are very accommodating and friendly - Bars and restaurant on site (oasis was great) - Very clean area (even outside is cleaned) - Cot and high chair provided as requested - Daily entertainment in the evening - Book shelf in main hotel for guests - Ample indoor seating area - Many pools - Blender, kettle, microwave, coffee machine and a few essential cutely and pots and pans

Negatives: - The apartment looked very spacious on website however in person it is miniature and compact. The living space is so small and not suitable for 4 adults let alone a little baby who needs space to walk around and crawl - All beds are single beds (no doubles) - The building had lots of cracks and finishing is poor for a 4 star - Air con did not work properly when we arrived had to request technician to fix - No iron, iron board, no drying rack as advertised. We had to request everything from reception. Initially we called (3 times) and it was not sent. Eventually we went to reception and had to collect - Beach towels are provided but not topped up if you want new ones you have to go and collect (again we called but no-one bought them) - Bathroom only has a fixed shower head so hard to clean if you’ve just come back from beach or have children under 2 This is of no fault of the hotel but there is no ‘no reserve’ policy on sunbeds by the pool so people just reserve seats from 7am onwards and no1 else gets a chance. The breakfast system is terrible. We overheard people from other hotels using our breakfast facility. This is very unfair on the people staying at the hotel who have paid for bed and breakfast. There is no-one manning the door with a check off system so people walk in and sit anywhere. The food is not replenished enough. Some things finish so early and do not even get replenished after 8:30am leaving very little variety. The breakfast runs from 7:00-10:30am however they actually start clearing up around 9:30am. If you get there after 9am you will be left with very little variety. This is was huge negative for the hotel. There are also VERY limited vegetarian options. For a four star hotel you would expect more variety which was disappointing. Overall experience and holiday were great however many improvements can be made for a 4 star accommodation

Great staff, super helpful. Nice pool and live entertainment in the evening. Location was perfect- right by the beach.

The quality of food was not worth a 4-star hotel unfortunately. There was plenty of food however most of it was frozen and then deep-fried or generally overcooked and tasteless. For the whole week , the only fresh fruit options were melon and grapefruit. Everything tasted like pre-made and then just heated up or cooked quickly. Even the paella wasn't great. We wouldn't go back to this hotel because of the food quality.
