“Exceptional!”
The best

Everything! A unique place in the middle of nowhere, so well designed, very quiet and the most wonderful sunset. The view is unbeatable. The host couldn’t be friendlier, she prepared a dinner which was exactly what I needed after a long walking day.

To be improved

It’s quite uphill and secluded (no shop around), but not necessarily a problem if you only stay one night

“I felt like staying in the house of an aunt. The stone house is lovely and the room was modernly equipped and very comfortable. The views from the terrace were amazing, definitely worth the walk. · Cons: It was not so easy to find the entrance but neighbours were helpful in redirecting to the right place.”

“Lovely hospitality after a steep climb”
The best

The proprietess is above-and-beyond hospitable and helpful, and is very thoughtful in making one’s stay pleasant and comfortable. There’s a lovely area in the yard with ocean views to relax (which is great, as it is a small property without a lot of common space).

To be improved

It is a strenuous and steep uphill hike (20-25 minutes) outside of Oia (and away from the Camino) to reach the house —once you are there, you likely won’t want to go back to town.
