“It was fine”

The location was pretty good

To be improved

No ac only two fans 1 of which was half broken. This meant we had to have the windows open and with terraces underneath we had loud noise till 3 ish in the morning. Not ideal if you want to be off early the next day. Also the extraction fan in the bathroom was broken so everything was very humid for about an hour after a shower.

“The location is great, however all the rest wasn't really perfect The windows give good sound isolation from the street, however the isolation in the flat is not great. There is a common kitchen for all guests, that has a fridge a table and a microwave and a kettle, however we were not able to find a plate or anything we can eat the food with/from · Cons: For me the experience of being in the apartment itself was a little depressing, but that is probably a matter of taste”

“Best location, cosy place!”

The best

Fantastic location in the heart of Bilbao. Couldn’t be better. Check in process was super easy. Small but comfortable place. Really loved staying there.

To be improved

Some essential items were missing in the kitchen. Salt and pepper to start with. The fridge needs to be defrosting. We didn’t want to use the washing machine as there was water in the drum. Doesn’t drain properly. But there are laundromats close by.

“Decent pension in old part of Bilbao”

The best

Location is very central--hard to beat this for the old part of Bilbao. Room was decent. A little small, but clean and had the necessities.

To be improved

didn't like that the bathroom was external to the room, and the description didn't explain this well, so that came as a surprise. The listing said "private bathroom," but the label on the bathroom I used said it was shared between two rooms. When I contacted off-site staff, they said that I had exclusive use of that bathroom, but given that it required me exiting my room and locking my door, walking halfway down the hallway, unlocking and re-locking the bathroom door, it didn't feel "private" or exclusive.

“Charming, with cathedral view”

The best

The room was simple & comfortable, with a certain charm. Automated checkin; they sent me a text, with details of how to pick up the key, in an automated locker place around the corner; very easy. It’s in the very heart of the old city; fantastic location.
