House manual instructions are out of date for operating aircon, awnings. Aircon will only run for 2 hours at a time maximum, so this can be an issue during the night. Cutlery and chopping boards are very old and tatty and need replacing. No shampoo or shower gel provided, and no dishwasher tablets, so you'll need to take your own

Check the details carefully - the apartment was advertised as having one double and two twin beds. When we arrived we found it was two double beds, which wasn't appropriate for us as needed twin beds for 19 and 18 year old brother and sister! The cleaners provided a z-bed, but this was way too small for our adult children, so our son slept on the sofa for 10 nights instead which wasn't very comfortable for him. The awnings were faulty and it took 5 days to get them fixed, so we couldn't sit out on the balcony during the day as there was no shade. The cutlery was lacking knives and was dirty on arrival.

The steps in the complex down to the pool are numerous and steep. Wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Also have to carry sun lounger chairs down to pool which was awkward but noticed other loungers chained up in an area beside pool which might be something for the owner to think about. All in all a super apartment and complex.

It was described as a Penthouse apartment, recently refurbished!! This has to be the most basic apartment I have ever stayed in. And the decor furnishings and facilities were so dated. Very disappointing.

Overall, the apartment felt a little tired. Air conditioning timed out every 2 hours, so couldn’t have it on at night without waking up every 2 hours. We therefore used the overhead fan, but this was very noisy, and kept us awake. Second bedroom would have benefited from a lamp and the light in bathroom very poor. Cleanliness of outside patio on arrival not that clean and bedding could do with replacing, plus no pillow protectors etc
