“Nice and pleasent stay”

The place was nice and quiet. It is only a short walk to the beach which is quite good. The apartment had all the sufficient facilities. However, do not expect a fully equipped kitchen. You can make basic meal

To be improved

Remember not to leave a key in the lock inside. You cannot turn the lock with a key from the outside. For some reason you have to use the key to lock the door from inside. Not a system we use in Northern Europe where deadbolt with latch is common. It will cost you 50€ to get door unlocked. Parking around the apartment area and Santa Pola center can be challenging - especially on sundays. There is an underground privat parking to the apartment but it is useless if you drive a big SUV or similar. Parking spaces are very tight and narrow. But that goes for public parking as well. If you rent a car remember to get full coverage. The kitchen could do with a decent bread knife with wavy edge.

“Santa Pola”

The best

Apartment was fantastic, plenty of room & had everything we needed, including shampoo conditioner, shower gel, washing facilities, hair dryer, coffee machine etc.. even water & wine on our arrival, very thoughtful. We only used the pool on our last day which we had all to ourselves. Beach is a few mins walk & about a 15 min stroll along the beach to the busier area with bars restaurants & shops, the further you walk the busier it gets, The Havana beach bar does nice food & a fab cocktail for only €7. Weather was fabulous, over 30° every day. Apartment has air con and ceiling fans which was a god send. This complex is private & gated, you have keys to get in & out. We loved Santa Pola, we will definitely be back.

To be improved

It was a little Hard to get a taxi at times but it was their San juan festival celebrations so it was understandable. Katrin helped us out on an occasion which was very much appreciated. We couldn't find anywhere local to just pop out and have breakfast, i think you may need to go further up the road, we just made our own in the apartment so it wasn't a huge problem.
