“The room was excellent, with a nice view of the monastery. The location in the city was great, next to the "core" of the village, close to nice restaurants and cafes. There is a nice restaurant in the fisrt floor, where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it is a very nice place to spend some time reading, studying or talking to friends. The room was very comfortable and clean. It exceeded my expectations! Surely, one of the best hotels at El Escorial.”

the bed was comfy

To be improved

the room was plenty of hair of someone else, I've requested twin beds as we were 2 males but we got a double bed in a mansard roofed room which made it really uncomfortable no ceiling lamp, so during dark hours it was making it even worse

I stayed with my partner on this hotel and it was a nice room the staff was welcoming too great price for a 1 day stay.

“Magnificent view! Staff Customer Service could use improvement”

The view of El Escorial from the room was absolutely fantastic! We loved the historic, beautiful building, balcony and central location.

To be improved

It's not the hotel's fault that it had NO water in the morning. What they could have done is: provide a water bottle for guests to brush their teeth in the morning. So, no shower, toilet or sink use in the morning and the front desk guy was unpleasant when I asked for a bottle of water. Doesn't seem like too much to ask, when the hotel has no water.
