Modern apt in old town w cathedral views

It was very warm 30 degrees the day we visited and there was no air conditioning but fans were left in every room. At night there was a little noise from the street audible in the apartment.

Our check-in was easy, and there's a parking garage just over the bridge if you can't find street parking.The apartment itself needs updating and was not the cleanest place. The shower was mildewed, as was the shower curtain, which desperately needed to be replaced. The bath towels are old and very thin, and the bathroom sink had hair in it, presumably leftover from the previous guests. The kitchen counters had crumbs on them and were not wiped down properly. The kitchen utensils and glasses were dirty, so we had to wash things before we used them. The apartment is advertised as having A/C, which it actually doesn't have, except for a small portable one stored in one of the bedroom closets (which, luckily, we didn't need). We had to hunt down the router to find the Wifi password. A welcome packet with that information would have been helpful and nice to have in the apartment. This place could be a 10 if the owners put a little TLC into it. We enjoyed our stay but wished this place had been cleaner and kept up better.
