“Great location and a spacious apartment.”

We liked the location and the space in the apartment. It was also very clean and tidy.

To be improved

We rarely eat out and like to cook and found that the equipment in the kitchen was quite basic. We were also disappointed to find the roof top a mess, with dirty plates, broken chairs and shattered glass everywhere which was not good for my young children. I am assuming this is a shared area for the building and not the sole responsibility of the owners of the apartment but It should be kept to a good standard. I also think it would be extremely beneficial to invest in air conditioning. The system appears to be there but it is not on. We fully understood air conditioning was not provided but in 35 degree heat, my mother in law really struggled. But overall, we were very happy with our stay.

“Too much broken and dirty things for a place with good potential”

Appartment in great location with much potential if it weren‘t for so many things not working.

* The checkin process is messy with an additional bank transfer needed * Some of the facilities that are in the pictures and listed under „property facilities“ are exclusive to individual appartments, e.g. the garden * The roof top terrace is a mess of broken glass and chairs * The ventilation and AC does not work * The toaster is broken and blows the fuse * The coffee maker is missing vital parts and thus does not work * The three chairs all have loose or broken legs and can only be used with caution if at all * Some towels were really dirty * The table cloth had holes and was crossly dirty underneath * Although the appartment suits four people there are only two knifes * The power outlet in the bedroom is broken * The shutter in the bedroom is ripped in two and not functional * There was a party going on so hard with people screaming for their lives in the middle of the night * Mold in the bathroom * Badly soundproofed front door that makes you stand straight in your bed when the resident neighbour gets her newspaper at 6 every morning We contacted the manager about the broken things, had a rather unfriendly Whatsapp conversation where they agreed to fix things but in the end we only got three new towels but nothing was fixed.

“Girona is a fantastic city to visit, we had a lovely time and the apartment was perfect for our stay”

The location was excellent. The size of the apartment was really good, lots of room for 7 of us and a small garden area outside was a plus.

To be improved

We had some trouble with the key for the outside door, however the host was quick to come and meet us and remied the problem. The walls on the corridor up could do with a freshen up and a shortage of bowls. However, these were small issues and overall was excellent.
