“Apartment Lavapies”

The best

Great location, close to main attractions: Plaza Mayor, Sol and museo del Prado are all within 20-30 min walk. Also close to the metro. Lively neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and bars in the area. The apartment stayed relatively cool, considering it was (over) 30 degrees during our stay.

To be improved

As mentioned by previous visitors, the shower is very small even though the bathroom is a decent size. The apartment is somewhat dark and noisy (you could clearly hear the upstairs neighbours). It's missing basic things in the kitchen such as salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, etc, which, in my opinion, you can't expect people to bring for a few days. I also found it quite expensive so might not be the best value for money...

Location is hard to reach. Check in process was challenging (no digital key to access at our convenience). Dim property. Can be cleaner. Tight toilet.

“A great property in a great location. Highly recommend!”

The best

The property was immaculate and well decorated. It had everything we needed and was well equipped. It also felt very safe with a key coded communal entrance before reaching the apartments front door. Excellent location and accessibility. There are lots of fantastic restaurants, bars and cafes in walking distance which we thoroughly enjoyed.

To be improved

The only downside was that it was a little stuffy in the apartment. We chose not to have the windows open overnight as residents passing through the courtyard could potentially see in. There are two fans at the property which were awesome but it would benefit from a small AC unit I think.
