Mogan Princess & Beach Club

Do not come to this hotel if you have more than 2 kids or family member with disability. We arrived with 3 kids and we should stay in the 2 end of the corridor, because they do not garantee interconnected rooms and you can not reseve a suit with 3 kids. Our story: The email I sand to the hotel: I travelded with 3 kids my sisters family with 2 more kids , my 2. sister with disability and old parents. We reserved 3 rooms. 2 suit and 1 interconnected room. When I got to the hotel your college said he can give only not interconected, but separeted rooms. NO I am sorry , we will try to manage it later. Than I said I cant stay in it, because they even not next to each other. Than the recepcionist said hotel is not garantee interconnected rooms, we should stay at two end of the corridor. When I told that how he think it, he told, I have to do what he say othervise I can go to another hotel. Finaly my parents and my sister with disability changed the room with us. When a room got free with separeted bedrooms, your receptionist told we have to pay for upgrading. We did not upgrade anything. We just wanted what we paid before. This incident made bad our holiday in your hotel. We will not come again.

Very disappointing stay — I would not recommend this hotel. The property layout is extremely confusing, with multiple elevators and buildings, and no proper explanation is given at check-in. The staff member (Cristian) rushed through instructions with poor attitude, making the experience even worse. The first room (4301C) was unacceptable — dirty bathroom, faulty door, and constant noise from above due to housekeeping. It was impossible to rest. I had to request a room change. Thanks to Emilio, who was the only professional and helpful staff member, I was moved to a better room (4405). Restaurant experience was also poor. Some staff are clearly untrained — rude tone, poor English, and no patience when asking basic questions about food (vegetarian, pork, etc.). Waiters also rush you, force seating, and remove plates too quickly. Overall, poor service, poor organisation, and not worth the money. Compared to Princess Taurito, this place is far below standard. Avoid if you want a comfortable and stress-free stay.

No WiFi in room Room on 3rd floor, lift out of use most days, had to drag luggage up and down flights stairs. Food good, my only complaint was the staff don’t let you relax at the table? They snatch you plate and glass as soon as you take your last mouthful even if your partner is still eating, not a good experience. The hotel is very rundown and needs to be refurbished. We would will not return and would not recommend. We came home needing a holiday

Overall I can’t complain much but I can compare this to other holidays I have had. This is my second holiday this year so far on the canaries and for the same price I had a better experience during the first holiday to Lanzarote. The description is VERY miss leading especially with the description saying that all rooms come with WiFi, this is ABSOLUTELY not the case and for children who live on their devices and adults too, in their down time before or after dinner this was very disappointing. If I had been made aware of this I would have considered a different hotel where these facilities are actually true! But I followed the description on the web site so believed it! As it is, I have had to write this review in reception and post it there as WiFi does not work anywhere else. This is defiantly a thing the hotel should consider improvements on as the world revolves around WiFi these days so why this hasn’t been installed is beyond belief? The TV changes are few and far between and the actual connection drops a lot. WiFi is so cheap these days too! It wouldn’t bother me so much if I had been made aware of this before booking and with both the day & evening entertainment being either non existent or very poor, bingo is not my thing! I’m in the canaries not at a Butlings in Bognor! The food is good and a great selection every day and different main dishes every day. The description mentioned saying lots of pools is also misleading, there is one main pool for families, which gets busy and crowded, but the little tiny baby pool can’t really be part of the USP as it’s only for babies so saying there are 3 pools is not fair. If you are expecting a number of pools to chose from you will be disappointed, be aware that there is one family pool and the other is for adults only. The rooms are clean and comfortable but the lack of WiFi is really disappointing. There is an option for late check out which I would use based on our return fight times but it is very expensive, with my own medical conditions I would really benefit with a late check out to take medication etc and relax before our return journey, but for a matter of hours they want an extra 40 euros and I can’t afford this. If you have mobility issues, I would strongly avoid this hotel. Again, this is not in the description online. The pool is surrounded by terracotta which is extremely slippery, I’ve seen a number of able bodied people slip over, it’s extra slippery especially when wet! There are a lot of stairs all over the hotel and despite lifts, our first room was a long way away from anywhere so we had to change it, it a was taking me 20 minutes to get to the pool or restaurant. I am sure a handful of rooms close to reception might get WiFi but even if that’s the case you cant say the rooms have WiFi when it may only apply to a few. There are plenty of sun beds to choose from, however they are all very close together so you end up very close to other people and families, so if you’re looking for a little privacy you won’t get this. I have my headphones in but can still hear people next to me talking. I would also say that there are very few English speaking people at this hotel. Again with it being slightly European, you must expect some women to be going topless by the pool. It doesn’t bother me so much but for a family pool I wouldn’t expect this as my children do ask questions about this which again being close to other people is hard to explain, There is an adult only pool for this, so this these people should go there and not subject young children to this in my opinion. Not been to the water park yet as it’s expensive so I can’t comment on this, it doesn’t look bad from a distance but also doesn’t look busy. It’s also not waking distance so you have to use a shuttle bus unless you want a long steep walk down and a steep walk back. When you check in you get a small bottle of water each which if you want more you have to fill yourself and reuse? I think you should get coupe or larger bottles of water replaced when they clean the rooms, a small price to pay for a nice benefit. I am here with my children until we leave on Monday 6th April 2026 and if the hotel would like to discuss this review with me or offer me commentary late check out, I’m I room 1108. Location is excellent. Ocean view just all day super. I afraid that is all the positive side. Atmosphere... sorry what ? Rooms over a week not changed any bedside just the towels. Value just about right. Food was fine bit low selection and variety but always plenty and fresh. Communal areas very slippery if wet or when rain. Lifts limited working and few fully broken so if you have rooms on level 3 need to take a lot of stairs. Very limited parking spaces. Low variety drinks on all inclusive package no local drinks available. Rooms poorly cleaned and old furnitures however the mattress was fine and firm. This hotel have 4 stars but worth max.2 and those for a location and for the food. The rest no need to mention. A bus take you down to the beach but very small and rocky so no joy. A bus take you to Mogan as well but leave from the hotel 9am and back at noon so you can do nothing there as no time for it so just avoid it or rent a car if you want to enjoy it. Overall it can be a great place if all lifts works bit more and better room cleaning and cost less. Not sure how it got 4 stars but maybewhen it was brand new. Take this as last option for holiday as again the location and the food is great.

Hotel desperately needs some TLC. The lifts are constantly breaking down. Don’t consider this hotel unless you are prepared to carry your suitcases down four flights of stairs. Pool area needs retailing as well. A shame as the staff and the food are excellent. Location is not the best as it is a long walk (hilly) to Taurito itself.
