Mojacar Home with mountain views

A short 15 minute drive to Mojacar Playa, yet a world away in terms of peace and tranquility. El Sopalmo is a mountain haven with fantastastic vista for those seeking a break from the treadmill of life. It may not have the neon lights or crowds of the Mojacar Playa strip but it is a gem for walking and cycling enthusiasts and for those who just want to chill away from the madding crowd. All of the above is complemented by very helpful and welcoming hosts who are readily on hand with good advice and support.

Property is in a beautiful location with lovely views. Good size rooms and all the facilities needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. The outside space is great with a lovely pool, Charcoal BBQ area and seating and dining areas. There is a very nice small bar restaurant very close by ( only open during the day while we were there 🙁) The local walks up and down the mountains are great but can be a bit challenging in the heat so best tackled early in the day. Our hosts Chris and Claire were great with lots of good communication to make sure our stay way relaxed and trouble free with plenty of advice on the local areas.

Location quiet.

Claire and Chris were excellent attentive hosts. The villa is lovely and has a really good ‘feel’ to it. Lovely outside space and pool. They thought of everything to make you feel welcome. Lovely bar and restaurant 2 mins walk. Nice walk to Granatilla bay 3O-40 mins from house. Close to mojacar 10 mins drive.

Just magical location, the house is an authentic Spanish home with all facilities, great space and very tidy and clean. Chris and Claire have be exceptional hosts, providing us with the right support and space to enjoy the stay. Magical mountain retreat, very peaceful but still close enough to the village Mojacar to enjoy the excellent restaurants, beach and shops. We could not have been happier with our choice of location. Excellent restaurant and bar across the road, superb walks and nature reserves around and very quiet and relaxing. Great selection of books in the house, great swimmingpool. Highly recommended.
