“Loved being at the Mill and learning about it as well as being in the county. The breakfast in our room was really great”
We loved the hospitality! Friendly, beautiful!
Bed could be bigger and more comfortable.
“We had a wonderful, peaceful and best stay at the property. The host welcomed us and showed around everything. The cotta”
The ecstatic of the property, location, uniquely build, calmness, everything was just perfect.
Leaving the property, wanted to stay longer but couldn’t.
“Charming”
Beautifully restored old mill, managed perfectly by the owners. Room was clean, full of well maintained furniture for the kitchen and the property has its own pay-what-you-take bar with drinks and ice creams. The pool was fantastic place to spend a day relaxing. Breakfast was of the highest quality and of really fair price (I’ve never tried a better yoghurt in my life) That’s a keeper

“Superb”
The location is super, tucked in between olive groves. The photos don't do it justice really.
The approach was a bit scary the first time, but that's what you get when you're looking for a location off the beaten track.
“Good for disconnecting with family/friends/group and sustainable lifestyles”
I stayed 3 nights, the first of which there were no other guests, it was very tranquil and had a lovely sleep. There were many stars in the sky and in the morning chirping birds. Rene is a nice host, he came to meet me and guide me to the property. The unit I was in 'La Cocina' was very clean and cute with a little terrace. The bed was comfortable and there is no a/c but a ceiling fan over the bed. In the mornings, the air is quite fresh so can open the windows. The location is disconnected and peaceful.
I cannot say this is the fault of the property but the other 2 nights I stayed, there was a large group and they woke me from sleep around 1am twice as they were talking outside. The units are seperate, true but there is no noise insulation and they are close to each other also lacks in privacy. As a solo traveler this maybe is more an issue for me than others. It is ironic that I went out of my way (and really getting there is not straightforward) to get some peace and was kept awake by noise. The property cannot control the behavior of other guests, there is nothing much to say here but I slept very badly the last night and left exhausted. Navigation is not useful for this spot and it was very stressful trying to find the property, the roads are not all finished and has country/rocks small roads towards the house. I did not enjoy driving there, got lost several times and was frustrated and wasted alot of my time which also made me tired. The hosts provide as clear directions as they can but I think the issue is there should be clear signs on the actual roads towards the property, this would makes things alot easier. It is unnecessarily complicated. As a personal opinion, when you greet guests with regulations/rules on laminated paper it takes away from hospitality and makes one feel a bit uncomfortable. I can understand they want you to respect their home/lifestyle but there is a line between welcoming paying guests and setting expectations for guests and am not sure they have balanced this well. As I said, it is a personal preference and probably not an issue for others.
