“A hidden gem in Cantabria!”
The best

A unique and peaceful stay in a beautifully restored old mill, partly on an island in the Ebro river. Warm welcome by Tatiana, our room was stylish and quiet. Lovely garden, small pool, and even a private cinema. Delicious wood-fired pizza in the evening and a generous homemade breakfast in the morning. The surroundings are green and tranquil, with friendly locals in the nearby village Polientes. Great base for nature walks, local food, and exploring authentic Cantabria. We stayed two nights and left completely recharged. Highly recommended!

“Peace and quiet in a beautiful and imposing surrounding”
The best

It is a place where it is quiet. You hear the river and nothing else, really allowing you to get some rest. There are fun things to do in the area, like the waterfalls, and you can relax in the pool. They have a bar that is open a few nights a week, with very friendly people working there who make great food! Make sure to try the local wine as well! Our host, Tatiana, was so welcoming and good fun, she really made it a home away from home.

To be improved

The boiler made some noise, and you can sometimes hear the neighbors. Nothing too bad though and I didn’t lose any sleep over it.

“Incredible”
The best

I had a truly memorable stay at this hotel! One of the best parts was the host, Tati — she was incredibly friendly, warm, and always available when we needed anything. She also gave us great tips about the area, which really helped us make the most of our time there. We stayed in the MIGUEL CERVANTES room, which had a lovely, peaceful view of the lush green surroundings. The atmosphere was so relaxing, and everything was very clean and well-maintained. The thoughtful design details throughout the property added a lot of charm and character — it’s clear that a lot of care went into creating a beautiful and inviting space. The breakfast was also fantastic — a perfect start to each day. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway.

The property is beautiful and in the middle of nowhere. Tasteful decoration perfect for art lovers, the place is full of it.

To be improved

The surroundings were marvellous and the apartment we stayed in was something out of movies. The staff was more than polite, genuinely nice people. We were alone in the property and they made us breakfast to taste. It was a lovely experience.
