The location and the quirkiness, the village and the streets are wonderful, and sleeping in a cave! So unique.

To be improved

Maybe for British people an electric kettle, but the little blue kettle on the stove works well.

“Bocarient is not ready for tourists.”

The host was always very responsive and helpful. Quite quirky place. Loved the Art Museum just across the Road and Monastery Museum in the village centre. Both guides were brilliant, friendly, and very knowledgeable.

To be improved

Sleeping in the cave bedroom. I didn't expect to be sleeping in the cave itself. I felt very claustrophobic. On entering the house it had a very strange smell which was not good. We then discovered it was close to, or beneath the ancient cemetery of the Church above. Car access to the village and house is bad. Very poor restaurants and food choices. Nothing for vegetarians or special dietary requirements. It was obvious the local people did not want tourists. Not a friendly or welcoming village.
