The best

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Lovely rooms and dinner was excellent.

To be improved

Pool area needs TLC, would be great if the bar was open during the day for drinks and coffee. It’s a long and steep walk up from the town so some sort of shuttle service would be a game changer.

The room was very spacious with a good view, In the restaurant we ate at lunch time and an evening meal both were excellent. There was also a wedding held at the property but as guests w were not disturbed by this as it was very separate.

To be improved

The parking situation could be improved but it was ok.

“A well located property offering comfortable accommodation but poor service”

The hotel is in a great location with lush gardens surrounding the property. Dinner in the restaurant (not breakfast) was excellent and great value for money.

To be improved

The service at the hotel left much to be desired. Breakfast offering was dull and with virtually no staff in attendance leading to cold food and slow service. After taking breakfast on our first morning we elected to undertake the steep journey and walk into town for breakfast on the other three days. The hard work of the few staff serving dinner prevented a similar experience.

The best

The hotel was superb, Absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was stunning - we had an amazing meal. The design of this hotel is so beautiful. We absolutely loved it. A real gem.

To be improved

I booked a room on booking.com and then tried to add onto the booking for another night, so ended up with 2 bookings. I contacted the hotel and asked if I could stay in the same room for both nights but there was zero flexibility. This is the first time I've ever experienced this. I paid for breakfast one morning for €16 pp and it was way over priced - no nice coffee - very average spread - a completely different calibre to the restaurant for dinner - which is amazing ! don't miss that
