We loved it all. Our host was helpful and friendly We loved the authentic rustic house with its modern facilities. Plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen with one less wine glass! Oops. Lots of hot water and great shower pressure. The gardens were a delight. We loved watching El Teide change colour from the balcony. We watched the bats at night and listened to the woodpecker in the morning. We walked from the house straight into the pine forests. We spotted blue chaffinches. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. We hope to return.

The condition of the drive down from the gate took some getting used to.

Cozy, in the middle of nature, quiet and relaxing. A great place for a couple, family, or group of friends.

To be improved

Many dishes were dirty (especially the pans) and had to be washed before use, wifi was fairly weak. There were also quite a few bugs (millipedes and mosquito), but that's expected in a cabin.
