The wifi is somewhat weak in some rooms.

No water for 5 days!!! Host not helpful and took a long time to respond to messages. House a long way from the seafront, restaurants etc. via an unpleasant walk past busy roads and have to cross the main road several times as no pavement. Urbanizacion and house old and needs modernising. Pool shut, sauna didn’t work. Small garden and terrace full of cats every day sleeping on the outdoor sofa. Can’t use furniture due to be covering in fur. Very cold inside house. Patio doors and kitchen window don’t shut or lock so have to leave the cages locked all the time so was like staying in a prison looking through bars. No instructions how to use any of the appliances. To one side patio being renovated and the other constant noise from clearing ground so woken up by heavy duty chainsaws and work went on until way past it being dark.

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! Dangerous. Within hours of arrival the electricity supply was tripping out, and the next morning blew altogether. A neighbour (friend of owner, not a qualified electrician) was sent to investigate, couldn’t find the exact problem but discovered numerous faulty cables and broken sockets. An electrician was finally contacted by the owner and arrived a few hours later. He unplugged anything badly wired and told us not to use, and diagnosed the oven as the source of the specific problem causing the electricity to cut. The owner refused to acknowledge that she need do more than replace the oven, which would have taken several days anyway, leaving us without cooking facilities. We clearly could stay there. The electrician said the issues could not be fixed within four days. We left the house after one night, unwilling to risk the lives of our family, including our 4 year old grandson. Booking.com were absolutely useless and gave us no assistance and took no responsibility for the safety of the property or for providing alternative accommodation. We were left with nowhere to stay that night, until we booked and paid for another rental home. The whole experience was very stressful and the refund process is ongoing.

We loved the friendly cats that like to visit the garden, but if someone is allergic that might cause an issue.
