“Pleasant but pics can be deceiving”

Booking the property on booking.com was super easy. Communication with the owners was also good. The property had amazing views of the sea, was close to the supermarket and the private pool was amazing. The kitchen offered all appliances such as air fryer, oven, hob, kettle etc. The driveway was big enough to fit 2 cars.

To be improved

The bedrooms are a lot smaller than expected from the pictures. There is a massive lack of storage and drawers for the 2 upstairs bedrooms. Few cosmetic issues noted to the owners such as door handles broken when we arrived and no drain cover in the pool. The restaurants and pubs etc are definitely a drive away, not walkable in my opinion.

The property was beautiful pool was lovely outside eating and cooking area was faultless, little garden area to the back of the villa! Beautiful Host where on hand at all times to help with anything or questions.

To be improved

This isn’t complaints at all this is just innocent feedback because we loved every minute of this villa! I feel it was maybe a sleep 6 fairly and comfortably but the other beds are located in the basement all in one room witch isn’t as glorious as the rest of the villa so as a group deciding witch people where being sent down to the basement wasn’t very nice they felt isolated and joked they where being sent into a dungeons to sleep, it was quite noisy and no toilet unless you come all back up to the villa, First bedroom on the top floor to the right is still maybe an old mattress that really needs replacing not very nice at all up to the other double mattress, Other than this we had such a lovely time and thinking of returning again next year for sure! Beautiful! There needs to be a easier set up with the tv room as we found it really difficult so someone who is even more less techno then us wouldn’t be able to use it

“Expected luxury but left disappointed due to home cinema and water malfunction”

We spent a week at the villa with friends and kids: two toddlers and two babies with admittedly high expectations, but unfortunately we left disappointed and experienced some major issues rather than a luxury stay at this price tag. All in all the amenities are good, especially the kitchen and the sauna, the beds are comfy. Having a Mercadona and a nice tapas bar at walking distance is a big plus, the beach is doable by car.

To be improved

1) During our stay there was none or only extremely weak water pressure which prevented us from taking a proper shower… we reported this to the owner but we did not receive a response on that .. only after 1 week passed our departure confirming the issue but denying any responsibility. I understand that this can be an issue on the island but responsiveness or providing alternative solutions was still poor, especially when you pay 400+ EUR per night. We stayed in other villas/fincas on the island in the same month where water was never an issue. 2) The much awaited feature of the house, the home cinema was not working. As young parents not making it to the movies in the past years we chose the place because of this. The owner sent a voice message to help referring us to the instructions which he had read carefully... again, the malfunction was confirmed by the owner upon his return to the villa. 3) The villa was far from sparkling clean with hair and dirt left in the bathrooms and inside the furniture. 4) I find that the 4th bedroom is rather an emergency solution as it has no windows and it is loud because of the pool heater. 5) The pool itself is nice, good size, but not heated as you would have it at a resort (and could use a cover for the night). 6) Another set of keys would be useful as one key for a potential group of 10 is not enough. These issues coupled with the owner not assuming responsibility and making up excuses to offer a sort of compensation explains the score (e.g we stole the pool cover that was never there and the owner confirmed this beforehand when asked about the pool temperature.. ). He did offer a minimal compensation in exchange of not leaving a review at all....

A superb property, close to two supermarkets, quiet street, 20min walk to the front. Key collection was easy from a key box at the property on arrival. The host Tom, was in regular contact checking everything was ok. Had a great holiday and would love to stay again

“Out of this world”

The best

Superb. My Island Escape was out of this world. It had a kitchen to die for. The master bedroom was unbelievable. The cinema room was amazing. Beautiful, tasteful decor with excellent facilities throughout the villa. The host Tom, although being based in New York was in regular contact checking everything was ok. We had an amazing holiday. The villas location is a twenty minute walk to the front with plenty of taxis to bring you home. There are two supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk and a fantastic restaurant just a short walk away. On the whole fabulous.

To be improved

Access to the keys via Safe Hands (based in the centre of Los Gigantes) proved to be difficult. It took us over an hour to find them and access the key box and then we were unable to return the keys at the end of our stay, due to them changing the lock box code. A simple lock box at the villa would be more user friendly.
