Beware: Unjustified Deposit Withholding We stayed at “Myflats Luxury Ocean Side” in Alicante and paid a €200 deposit. Upon departure, the host refused to return our deposit, citing that the apartment was not cleaned. However, the rental agreement did not specify any obligation for guests to perform cleaning upon checkout. We left the property without causing any damage, which we can substantiate with video evidence. Charging such a substantial amount for standard cleaning, which is typically included in the service, is unreasonable. Future guests should be cautious and clarify all terms beforehand.

Short road to the water and nature reserve. Very clean apartment.

To be improved

Uncomfortable rest furniture. Hard beds. Missing regular coffee machine and toaster.Dishwasher not working on arrival. The new one was installed after 3 days, with the added inconvenience. A lot of noise from the road.
