MyHouseSpain - Maravilloso apartamento renovado

I’m specifically writing this review to warn everyone NOT to stay at this property. Here are the reasons why: 1.) Communication is almost nonexistent with these hosts. They barely check Whatsapp and when I had an issue with blinds, they never followed up until I threatened to contact booking.com and THEN the owner sent me a whatsapp. 2.) Location. They don’t show you you it in the photos or description but you are on the second floor right above the ground floor. What does that mean? You can hear EVERYTHING. There’s a guy daily that breaks light bulbs or glass right under the window because, did I mention, there’s a giant dumpster right under the living room window. All the residents dump their bottles and trash there daily so you can hear trash being discarded. Also you can hear cars passing all days of the night and exactly at 2:33 AM a garbage truck comes rumbling past. Also this rental is really far from Gran Via and the downtown area and is a 12 minute uber always to get anywhere. 3.) There were blinds missing in the living room so when my friend slept on the sofa bed he had the orange glsre kf the street lamp on his face the entire time. When I brougg this up with the owner, he ignored my message. 4.) No hot showers!! The shower is an electric tank or something so my friend and I took turns taking 2 minute speed showers everyday before the hot water ran out. It was like being in an army bootcamp. When we complained, the owner gave me the runaround saying it is a “timed shower” enough for two hot showers. 5.) Attitude. I never recieved one apology from the owner despite all this and we left two days earlier than we had planned for. He almost disgustingly threw us the refund and said that I had a “bad atittude”. Avoid, avoid, please avoid booking this property. I am warning you.

Only one towel for a five day stay. The bed is not that comfortable, and especially the pillows. Generally the apartment might benefit from a slight renovation.
