NAHIMA PARKING FREE

The only thing I like is the two bedrooms! Stayed end of Jun, very disappointed with the arrangement of the owner (or his agent). Upon booking I requested to check in around 9-10pm because we cannot estimate our time by own driving! The owner mentioned check in hour is from 3-8pm. Fine, we understand and will accommodate to the rule! We messaged the owner before we depart from Pau if we can check in around 730pm at 730pm and was told we cannot be later than 730pm or will be fined 30euros! I wasn’t aware that I was cheated/threatened until I read the rules in their post next day after check in (the post clearly mentioned that the fine to be imposed after 8pm). Around 1130am the agent text me to remind me that I cannot check in later than 730pm or else they will fine me 30euros! We drove from Pau (France) to San Sebastián but due to cross country I don’t have WiFi coverage until reach Spain border at Hondarribia around 430pm! At 430pm (after I can resume online), I msg the lady Mari (she cannot speaks/converse in English, so non-Spanish speaker pls avoid this to save your hassle) if I can check in earlier because we will depart earlier from Hondarribia (due to raining and I have small children with me so I decided to leave Hondarribia earlier). Unfortunately there’s no reply from Mari the agent, and owner told me unit is ready for us to check in! So I reached the apartment at 6pm! And no one is there to assist us! Mari cannot appear and only can meet us at 7pm to check in! I have to wait at downstairs for an hour with 3 children (11, 6 & 3 years old) with a car with us. Disappointment is we need to rush our trip to avoid fine that incur by your side if we are late! Because of this hefty penalty, we tried our best to rush there early, But there’s no confirmation if your agent can welcome us if we come earlier. This is not a fair rule, especially to foreigner who is not familiar to Spain..
