Friendly and efficient staff at the hotel where we collected the keys. They were really responsive to messages and attentive. Their professionalism was appreciated.

To be improved

The main bedroom felt a bit damp for the first couple of days, albeit there was very inclement weather.

“The views from the patio are worth the walk up the hill!!”

The patio and the view were incredible. The house was private, quiet and spacious. Loved that the bath and kitchen are updated but the living spaces still have some Spanish charm.

To be improved

If you don’t have a car the walk up the “mountain” is a workout. You need to be fit!

“Ok but could be so much better”

The pool facility was excellent after it had been cleaned. The bbq area was also great, as was the air conditioning

The property needs decorating and re vamping, in the bedrooms and the main living area. The walls and the would furniture look old and need a re paint. The terrace furniture is uncomfortable. There are only 3 sun loungers yet its meant to accommodate 4 people ??. The toilet area was clean but old and needs to be re done. Whilst I found the main bed to be comfy, the pillows were of a poor old standard and need replacing. There were no instructions with the villa, as who to contact if something went wrong or where any the facilities were, i.e. communal pool / bins.There were no basic cleaning sprays to wipe down work surfaces or to clean the bathroom. There was only one bin bag left. When we arrived the pool floor was green. I complained about it on the Saturday but it took til Tuesday for someone to come and clean. When they did come, the people stated there was no chlorine in it. There was so much chlorine put in it then, that it stained my partners swimming shorts. The Gardner randomly turned up on a Friday and let himself in - there were no instructions as to who would turn up and when, this was meant to be our private place for two weeks. I wouldn’t have a problem if i new when people were coming.

“Gorgeous villa in lovely Nerja”

The villa is in a wonderful location, the pool and garden is fantastic and everything you could possibly want was available at the villa. 2 supermarkets within easy walk. We were so relaxed and have already booked again for next year

To be improved

The bed was hard and the pillows are uncomfortable, this was definitely the lowest point. Also, for those with mobility issues, the hill up to the villa is very steep and quite a hard walk in the heat
