“Very disappointing stay despite nice looking budget apartment”

Great location in a small and quiet resort. Pool was great. Plenty of towels. Washing machine was very handy. Host left a welcome bag of beer, crisps and olives.

To be improved

Bedroom - musty smell in room which unfortunately we discovered was from a significant amount of mould covering the underside of both beds. Wouldn’t have stayed here at all had we found this earlier. Toilet area - smelled of urine when we arrived. I had to buy cleaning products and clean around the toilet and walls, which resolved the smell. Shower - curtain too long so it sits in the water when trying to drain and is stained and dirty. Pressure not great and hot water ran out with 2 showers. Kitchen - cups and cutlery not adequately cleaned after previous guests.

Very spacious apartment, ideal location to the strip, 1 minute walk.. very clean and modern, no noise at night, very peaceful sitting on balcony, the customer service was excellent, kept in constant contact with us and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend

“Disappointing”

Arrived to find the bed had no top sheets only a duvet with a cover on so began by making the bed with the spare sheets. 2 toilet rolls, 2 ply no spares so had to buy some. The apartment DOESN'T HAVE ANY DRAWERS Whatsoever, so nowhere except sink top to put any cosmetics etc. 2 tiny marble half moon bedside tables hardly any room to put anything. The shower is obviously old and the shower curtain needs replacing. My husband had to hold the hairdryer in the plug for me as it kept stopping. This was complained about and an electrician came and mended it. I had to request a carving knife as we had no decent knives to cut. These were consequently bought and supplied 2 days later.The picture on the web is misleading as it does not show the wires coming down the side of the tele. The 15 steps were a nightmare for me due to arthritis. I could go on but have to say I blame Booking.com as they are the agents. It states a terrace but shows a balcony. So I thought we were on the ground floor. I am very surprised that this apartment was under Booking.com and also much more expensive than the other rented apartments. My contract was with Booking.com so I would expect some compensation from them. Due to this our holiday was spoiled.

“Excellent quiet apt in a great location close to the beach, bars, shops, buses and taxis”

Communication with the owner was excellent. We were able to leave our bags in the apt whilst it was being cleaned as we arrived in the resort 4hrs before the apartment was officially ready (4pm). In reality it was ready at 2pm. Apartment was very clean and quiet. Pool area hardly used - mainly residents at the complex. Apt is 60m from the beach and the start of the shops/bars. Decent supermarket 30m away.

Needs extra pillows as the ones provided were a bit soft Few more bits of cutlery required eg sharp knives for cutting bread The TV console in the centre of the apt was a bit messy and out of keeping with the rest of the apt. - tv secured with wire, leads hanging out. Could do with a redesign ie put TV on L shaped wall bracket
