Kitchen was ok, washing machine was not working and no dust pan and brush available. It was specified that the latest you could check out was 12noon. We had planned to be gone by 11:30am anyway but the cleaning lady arrived at 10am and told us we needed to be gone. She didn’t speak any English so I showed her that it wasn’t in fact until 12. She then stood at the door until we had left which was at 11:20am. That was irritating and an obvious misunderstanding from someone.

I was extremely disappointed in this booking. The host did not provide any pre-check in information (which apartment we were in, process for getting keys, etc). All of which was very rushed and poorly executed over several phone calls. When arriving to the property, we were told a different address than listed on the booking. Calle Filipinas 10 is a beachfront address with a balcony facing the beach, where as Calle Filipinas 11 is located behind this other listing. We would not have paid such a premium rate for this location and feel mislead. Not to mention no WiFi information was ever shared (despite being advertised), the smoke detector had a dead battery and kept beeping, and the master ceiling fan/light did not work, old pillows and bedding. Super late check in with an early check out. No where to store luggage before/after hours, no exceptions.

If I was to be very picky the corners of the bed frame protruded from the mattress and wee very sharpe. We both did ourselves a bit of damage, Julie more than me (sorry Kim for the blood on the sheets) I think we should have been more aware.

Air-conditioning smells so didn’t use, very early check-out time, no luggage storage, parts of wardrobe locked and unusable, large padlocks on drawers under bed which children scratched their legs on several times, lack of information re WiFi/bibs etc, bedding and towels (although clean) are old and need replacing
