Nervion Paradise

The worst experience I ever had with Booking in 15 years and across 7 countries. Do not ruin your experience in the amazing city that is Seville by booking this property. We were asked to get the keys on the other side of the city. We had to wait in the apartment for a video on how to open the doors and get inside. The photos must be old because the house looks very different from the photos. Everything was worn or broken. Walls were dirty and cracked. Furniture was disgusting and stained. Exposed wires on the walls. Hairs around the floor and on bed sheets and pillows. We asked for clean sheets and they put them on the sofa the next day, so we had to make the beds ourselves. All windows and balcony closed with bars, which can be a fire hazard with all the exposed wires. We tried to book another property as soon as we saw the state of the apartment, but everything was booked.

The main problem retrospectively was the sofa bed. It did not have shirts and the keys lady had to find them, but the girls that slept there had gnat bites the days after. The wifi password was not correct and we needed to reset the rooter. The apartment did not have toilet paper. The keys lady called to bring them. Somebody came, but we had left the apartment and she could not get in. She said her key did not open the main door. Then she came to our friend house and delivered them. However, when we went to the apartment, we realized they were not toilet paper but kitchen paper rolls! Due to some kind of misunderstanding the initial reservation was cancelled. Not sure what the problem was with the credit card, that was used with no problem in the rest of the booking reservations in our Easter vacation. We needed to make several calls to Booking and the apartment's agency, and finally we could have the reservation restored. It was stressful because the fear of losing the reservation to other customers and because the timing out of office hours.
