“Good location · Cons: The apartment had potential to be very good but Unfortunately there were a lot of broken things in the room. So many, including broken toilet, toilet door, coffee machine.. I had to report them as they affected our stay. The receptionist was very kind and apologetic but the manager was not in further communication so I never booked for my return trip.”

“Conveniently located flat to visit Santiago de Compostela.”

The best

The flat is a couple streets out of the old city in Santiago, on the way to the Train/Bus station and in a very commercial area with lots of shops and cafe/bars. The building where the flat is located is a few metres away from a hotel, from where you pick up keys and have breakfast, all that good. The flat is over a discotheque, but luckily we could hear music very quietly so it was not an issue for sleeping.

To be improved

We were given 2 cards that open the flat, BUT only one key for the street door, so basically there was no point with the second card. The bathroom was redecorated and the shower great, but there was no window or extraction fan, so humidity remained there.

I was there two nights Each night I was woken around 3 to 4 am by a group of people who gathered below my windows to drink and talk loud. There is no open bar or anything there. Just a gathering in the street. I had to use the ear plugs I had for the snoring dormitories in albergues.”

“Pretty close to city centre. · Cons: There is a disco just under the bedroom window and it is really noisy at night (at least on weekends). Noise is so loud that it wakes one up.”
