Double bed has two separate mattresses. No soap in the bathroom. One toilet paper roll for 4 nights.

You could hear the street noises a little from the living room/kitchen. It was quiet in the bedroom though.

There is no air conditioner or even a fan which makes staying at the apartment in the sunny hours not very pleasant. When we arrived it was quite hot in the apartment and there was not even a bottle of cold water. During the night it gets quite cold and there is no heating which is a problem too. The apartment is not well isolated and you can hear all different kinds of unpleasant sounds from outside pretty loudly even if the doors are closed. The location is definitely not central which will be bad if you don’t have a car but with a car, finding a free parking spot will be easy. In the more popular parts of the town it is a lot more difficult to park. If you can’t or don’t want to pay for the apartment in cash, be prepared for at least 30 mins of your time to be wasted in conversations with the owner (in our case eventually we were able to go to another location and pay by card). You will probably be missing a lot of simple things that you would think the apartment would be already equipped with but this can be easily resolved by doing some shopping and the prices for everything in Puerto de la Cruz are so low. This is not a must when you rent an apartment even though we usually get it in other places, but for this apartment there is no cleaning service available.
