New Best location in central Madrid Loft

Places is advertised for 4 people, 2 rooms and 2 baths, but it's actually a foldable bed in a living room on the ground floor where the toilet is and the main bedroom on the lower ground has no toilet, only a shower. So if you're a couple you have to climb stairs to get to the living room toilet, if you're two couples, you need to go through the "living room/bedroom" to go to the toilet, extremely unpleasant. Flat has a glass entrance, no curtains and no door to the underground room, so light will come in everywhere in the morning. Shower in the bedroom leaves everything humid. Glass entrance does little to attenuated the street's noise. Very expensive for what you get.

The blurb for the flat mentioned city views. In fact the flat is on the ground floor, with the door leading onto the street. There are frosted glass doors that allow plenty of light into the flat, however, so it's not dark and we generally found the flat very pleasant to spend time in. There is only one toilet, which is in the bathroom leading from the room that is the lounge/ second bedroom, so if the lounge is being used as a second bedroom, anyone staying in the main bedroom has to walk through to use it.

Four minor inconveniences, two of which did not apply to me, but just to be aware of. Bathrooms could do with a few more hooks to hang towels from, to be able to dry them. Washing machine does not have a dryer function, or perhaps I did not know how to make it work. Though there are two main beds, sinks, and showers in the apartment (upstairs and downstairs), there is only one toilet on the ground level, the basement room did not have a toilet. Be aware if you would be staying in on Sunday due to El Rastro markets from 09:00-15:00, the street directly outside the apartment would be filled with people. However the noise insulation was great once the doors are closed, and the gate and door are very secure.
